We're not quite two months into 2025 and, well, what a year it's been so far. If you're into numerology, 2025 is a 9 year (e.g. its individual digits add up to the number 9), which apparently is a time of transformation, letting go, self-love, creativity, and emotional healing. It represents the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new one, which sounds good enough to me—hopefully the messiness of the first few months of the year is part of the process. (And we should trust the process!) My birthday is on Sunday, and while I've already got a whole list of things I want to manifest in 2025, here's what's on my birthday wish list.

2. Confession: my wallet is this random navy blue cardholder that I got in a Rachel Zoe Box of Style years ago. It barely holds everything I need, and it often pops open. It's very sad overall, and I feel like it's probably not helping me manifest financial abundance. I would really love a new wallet, and this Comme des Garçons one would coordinate nicely with my other CDG pouch, plus it's small enough to fit in my tiniest purses.

3. I got Sean an Oura ring for Christmas, and it might just be one of the best presents I've ever given him—he is obsessed. I now want one for myself, not only so we can compare notes every morning, but it also tracks your periods! Yes, these are a little dorky, but I find them less obtrusive than the Apple Watch, and this sculpted design (especially in gold!) feels a little more fashion-y and less tech-y.
4. I saw A Complete Unknown, and Timothée Chalamet is really good, but Monica Barbaro's wardrobe in the film as Joan Baez is even better (Arianne Phillips, who was Madonna's longtime stylist, designed the costumes). The look that particularly stood out to me was the one she wore at the last Newport Folk Festival: a brown suede fringed jacket over a white pleated midi skirt. It was and still is classic boho perfection. I am pretty sure I have an early-aughts white pleated Prada dress I can pull out of storage, but I saw this jacket and I couldn't have designed a better one myself. Oof at the price tag, but hopefully it will last until the next time boho comes back into style.
Massimo Dutti suede fringed jacket $590
5. I already have three Madewell belts, all of which are excellent Khaite dupes, and if wanting another one is wrong, then I don't want to be right. This one is totally different, however, with studs all around. It would definitely be the boldest in my collection, and that's exactly the kind of energy I want to bring into the rest of the year.
