Mark your calendars, beauty-holics: Sephora's holiday sale is coming! Rouge members get 20% off staring 10/30, VIBs get 15% off starting 11/3, and Insiders get 10% off starting 11/5, all with code HOLIDAYFUN through 11/9. As I've noted before, I work at Sephora's corporate headquarters and am thus an expert on everything we sell. Kidding, I'm not an expert, but I do get the inside scoop, and I am constantly being plied with free stuff, and don't you hate me right now? That said, I do form strong opinions on this stuff, so here are 7 of my favorite products right now—take advantage of the sale and get them at a discount!
While I have not had the best experience with this brand in the past, I bought this (yes, I bought it myself!) after reading about how it's pretty much a miracle in getting rid of keratosis pilarsis, otherwise known as chicken skin, which my upper arms and lower legs suffer from. So far it hasn't eradicated my condition completely, but my bumps and redness are definitely more faint.
First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser mini $10
While buying my Bump Eraser, I impulse-bought this set too. Biossance makes my favorite eye cream and Grace Atwood thinks this lactic acid treatment is even better than Good Genes, plus I'm always on the lookout for a vitamin C product that doesn't irritate my skin. I haven't opened this duo yet, but I have high hopes for it.
Sephora Collection rose quartz facial roller $20
Call me crazy, but I'm still wearing lipstick during shelter in place (or whatever we're calling where we are right now). I've been drawn to all-day formulas like this one in the hope that they don't smudge on the inside of my mask. So far I've yet to find one that doesn't budge, but for an hyper-pigmented lip color like this one, it lasts forever without drying out my lips.
This product seems kind of silly at first—like do you really need a special hairspray just to de-frizz your hair?—and historically, Living Proof has made my hair kind of flat and greasy. This, however, is like a little bottle sent from heaven. Not only does it make your frizz disappear, it makes your hair smooth and shiny. If you have fine hair like I do, however, a little goes a long way.
Living Proof No Frizz Instant Defrizzer $29
I am a woman on a mission, and that is to annihilate my blackheads once and for all. Niacinimide is a buzzy ingredient right now; it supposedly has many of the properties of Vitamin C without the irritation that comes with using active ingredients. So far, my pores do seem to have less gunk in them, and that could be a combination of this and...
The Inkey List Niacinimide Serum $6.99
