The key to finding a voluminous, flowy white dress that doesn't make you look like an elephant is looking for a lightweight, gauzy fabric—and making sure it fits properly. This Elizabeth and James dress (remember them? They're now at Kohl's!) is in a slightly different fabric—eyelet versus voile—but the vibe is very similar, and the price is right.
Another must-have for summer: a big, slouchy tote bag. Bonus points if it has an interesting handle like this one. I think the woman in the photo has a Marni bag, and while the shape of this one is a little more relaxed, it's a fraction of the price and a bit more versatile.
Splendid ring tote $130
I wear delicate gold jewelry exclusively in the summer, including a pair of hoops and several delicate gold necklaces that I never take off. If you don't already have these two staples, it's time to invest in some.
Finally, a pair of oversized sunglasses is key, and I say the bigger the better. This pair has a similar ombré effect in the frame (although, for the record, I believe the woman in the photo is wearing Celine).

I wish I could pull off a white dress as I love the way both of these look - the inspiration pic and the cute one you found! I find just a white tee or white shorts enough trouble to keep clean though, haha! not sure I could get away with a monochrome white outfit with my clumsy self and the kids to take into consideration, haha!
Hope that you are having a great weekend :) We had our first birthday party yesterday after the relaxed restrictions and it was so much fun!

You know I am all about a little white dress this season! Your picks are so beautiful. And I love the simple gold jewelry with it. Thanks for linking up.
