Judging by the traffic to last week's post, my Get the Look series is off to a rousing start, so here's another favorite from my Outfit Ideas for Ageless Style Pinterest board. As I mentioned a few weeks ago, I've been looking for the perfect leopard-print coat forever; this one is particularly appealing to me because of its open, cocoon-like cut. Since the woman in this photo is holding an invite to the Jacquemus show in her hand, I'm assuming it's rather pricey, so let's see what we can do for a bit less...
There are a gazillion leopard-print coats out there, and most of them are really cheap-looking. I actually prefer the look of printed or jacquard wool to faux fur; the key here is getting a longer, oversized silhouette and I think this And Other Stories wool-blend coat is about the best you can do for the price.
Chances are, you probably already own a basic black long-sleeved tee, but if not, I think this Madewell whisper tee should fit the bill. And if in doubt, size up for a slouchier fit.
You probably also have a pair of white jeans in your closet, but if not, you can't go wrong with these 7 for All Mankind Roxanne jeans, which have a nearly universally flattering straight-leg cut (too-skinny white jeans are a pet peeve of mine), with a slightly cropped, frayed hem.
The woman in the photo is most likely wearing a classic pair of Gucci horsebit loafers, which are worth the investment if you are so inclined, but if you aren't (no judgement here), these Steven Santana loafers look (almost) like the real thing.

Leopard is such a great neutral print! So of course it makes an amazing statement coat! Love your leopard coat pick!
I love leopard print and this one looks nice.
