The fashion world seems to never tire from updating the classic pump. From chunky platform soles and architectural heels to leather, suede, and sequins in every shade of the rainbow, it's basically impossible to get sick of a style that's constantly getting revamped! And while you may already have a substantial collection of standard go-tos like black and nude, plus a couple fun shades and sparkly pairs to switch things up, this season's pumps are ready to embrace the rough and rugged in the form of spike embellishments! Sure, we've already seen our share of studs and moto-inspired shoes... but spikes are a whole new ballgame. Lady GaGa would certainly approve, but do you have the guts to rock spike-studded pumps? I love the way the girly platform heel and the bad-gal inspired spikes provide the ultimate sexy contrast, but they're certainly not for the demure dresser, or the faint of heart! What do you think - super-chic, or too extreme?
