TheFind Guest Post: Step Dramatically in a Pair of Burgundy Pumps
Monday, July 25, 2011
A girl can never have too many pumps, but there’s still something to be said about being selective (trust me, otherwise you’ll just end up with a closetful of rainbow hues you swear you’ll wear “at some point” but never actually will). And while certain styles, like patent nude, grey suede, and the classic platform black pairs may never go out of style and go with nearly everything, you don’t want to rely on the same old faithfuls to get you through the upcoming fall season! That’s why I’m all about burgundy pumps — they’re undeniably fall-festive, and manage to be classier than bright red while still providing a fun pop of color to your muted work outfits, go-to denim, or even your little black dress. Go for a classic silhouette with a slight pointed toe (which is also totally in!) like these Pierre Hardy patent leather pumps, or opt for a platform peep-toe with lots of patent shine like this Giuseppe Zanotti pair. If you’re not afraid to strut sky-high, I love these Ash ‘Eloise’ suede pumps, which instantly vamp up any skirt or skinny jeans, but if those are still a little too understated for your taste, the scalloped back detail and squared toe of these Samanta ‘Harlene’ pumps make them quite the statement-makers!
