Where & When: Sunday, September 13th at 6 p.m., Scandinavia House
Runway Recap: The show featured bridal and evening gown couture created by the Israeli designer, set to a Spanish soundtrack intended to invoke the spirit of Barcelona. The models at this show were exotic with big up-do's, and some sauntered particularly seductively down the runway. Some numbers featured fascinating cloud-like and geometric shapes; though the audience had a strong friends and family air to it, the experience managed to maintain an esoteric and exclusive feel.
Standout Look: Clearly the centerpiece of this show was the bridal gown on the final model. Voluminous and accented with dazzling details, the dress brought to mind an image of a royal wedding. The model was crowned with a gorgeous headdress of crystals and wore a fluffy white bolero. The crowd clapped heartily in delight.
Bonus Points: This off-site runway was connected to a lovely rooftop patio, which served as a starting point for the models.
